New CUPRA Born Unveiled: Sharper Design, Smarter Technology and Enhanced Electric Performance
The next chapter in CUPRA’s electric performance journey has officially begun. The new CUPRA Born has made its world premiere on 5 March 2026, bringing a bold facelift that introduces sharper styling, smarter technology and enhanced performance across the range.
Since its UK debut in 2022, the Born has played a key role in establishing CUPRA as one of the most progressive and exciting brands in the electric vehicle market. With more than 28,000 registrations in the UK, the Born has already proven itself as a standout electric hatchback – and this latest update raises the bar even further.
A striking new design
The refreshed Born embraces CUPRA’s latest design language, delivering a more athletic and assertive presence on the road.

The updated entry powertrain replaces the previous 59kWh / 230PS setup with a 58kWh / 190PS configuration, delivering improved efficiency and increased range.
UK launch timeline
Full UK specification, pricing and technical data will be confirmed at the beginning of April 2026, ahead of order books opening on 12th May.
Launch allocations will be confirmed before orders open, with the first vehicles expected to arrive at retailers in early Q3 2026.
