First look at the All-New Skoda Peaq ahead of its launch
The first exterior design sketches of the Peaq have been revealed before its launch on Tuesday 23 June.
The model’s design is characterised by ‘clearly defined surfaces, precise lines and distinctive lighting elements’ .
Karl Neuhold, Škoda’s head of exterior design, said: “In designing the exterior of the Škoda Peaq, we consistently applied the Modern Solid design language, combining clean lines, balanced proportions and distinctive elements.
“Precisely sculpted surfaces and clearly structured details create a confident, timeless presence.”
The front of the Peaq features slim, T-shaped headlights alongside a gloss-black panel known as the ‘Tech-Deck Face’.
These elements are linked by a light bar to form a frame-like loop motif. Beneath this sits a ‘volcano-shaped’ bumper with a pronounced lower edge and defined horizontal line.
From the side, the Peaq is marked by a high shoulder line and wide rear pillars, giving the vehicle a more upright stance.
The design sketches also show flush door handles integrated into the bodywork.
At the rear, the design echoes the front, with T-shaped tail-lights connected by a light element to recreate the same loop motif, intended to make the model instantly recognisable.
